In the historic center of Bagnolo Mella, Arteco has followed the repositioning of a historic shop opened in the first post-war period and now in its third generation. The removal of the plaster from the walls brought the structure of the building back to life, porcelain stoneware floors in 100×100 format with concrete effect textures, combined with structures and against walls in black wax-finished iron, have allowed a review of the industrial style. Some walls have been treated with non-woven wallpaper coverings whose subjects have been specially selected by Arteco. The lighting through ceiling mounted rails, hand-blown crystal suspensions and the air conditioning channeling system created linear geometries aligned with the style of the store. The art direction suggested to the client to maintain a link with the past, restructuring and positioning in key points of the store, antique watchmaker’s tables and a still functioning period safe in green enamelled iron with brass small parts.
